DIPR hosts Symposium at GGMHSS Mubarak Mandi

JAMMU : Cultural Wing of Department of Information & Public Relations today organised a symposium on the topic Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav here at Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi.

As many as 13 students participated in the competition. The first position was bagged by Manyata while second and third positions were secured by Samreen Asgar and Manya, respectively.

The principal of the school and the chief guest, Poonam Sharma lauded the efforts of DIPR for providing students the platform to express their views. She urged the department to organize more such events in the future. She congratulated the winners and participants for taking part in the programme.

The symposium was judged by Sr. Lecturers Monika Khajuria, Jyoti Patial and Sheefa, while proceedings were conducted by Manyata and Manya Pandoh.

Among others, Drama Instructor, Vijay Anand, Sr. Cultural Assistant, Mohinder Panchareve, staff members and students were present on the occasion.
