DIPR organises debate competition on ‘Indian Freedom Struggle’ at GHSS Jatheli

 

DODA : As a part of ongoing celebrations of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations Jammu organized a Debate competition on ‘Indian Freedom Struggle’ at Government Higher Secondary School Jatheli in District Doda.

As many as 10 students of the host school participated in the competition.

Yograj Parihar, Principal of the school was the chief guest on the occasion, The panel of judges consisted of Master Sonika Rathore, Master Sudheer Sharma, Master Naseer Salaria and Anil Kumar Senior Cultural official of cultural wing of DIPR Jammu.

Besides, other officials of the Department of lnformation and Public Relations and staff members of school, Local of the area were also present on the occasion.

Sapna Devi of Class 12th clinched 1st Position, Surishta Thakur of class 11th got 2nd position and Muneeb-ul-hassan of class 12th secured 3rd positions. They were also awarded with Trophies and certificates.

Principal of the School said that the programme inculcate a sense of patriotism and the value of Independence among the students. He urged the Information Department ton organise such programmes in future also.

Meanwhile, a symposium was organised at Athkhar Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah, here today.

Chairman of the School, Sudash Manhas was the chief guest while Coordinator, Anand Pal Gupta was the guest of honour on the occasion.

The proceeding of the Program were conducted by the student of school Shagun Sharma.

As many as 10 students participated in the symposium and expressed their views.

The symposium was judged by Nahira, Sakshi Sharma and Saima (Teachers).

The first prize clinched by Asrar-ul-Haq, Shivani Manhas got second prize while third prize was won by Anmol Manhas.
