DIPR organises Multilingual Mushaira at Bhaskar Degree College

Udhampur: Department of Information & Public Relations, District Information Center, Udhampur, in collaboration with Bhaskar Degree College, organized a multilingual Mushiara in the College premises, here this morning.
Around 30 renowned poets of the district participated in the mushaira and recited their poetic work highlighting social and welfare issues.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar was the chief guest and Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Viqar Giri was the guest of honour.
The prominent and budding poets Parksh Premi; Balraj Bakshi; Surjeet Hosh; Dr.Pankaj Saraswat; Neeraj Sharma; Jagdeep Dubey; Ajay Mahajan; Advocate Swatanter Dev Kotwal; Rekha Thakur; Neetika Neetu; participated in the Mushiara and presented their poetic verses touching all aspects of society.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the efforts made by Information department for organizing Mushaira.
The District Information Officer, Er Sajad Bashir Somberia presented vote of thanks and assured the audiences that the department will continue to provide platform to the poets, artists and budding writers to showcase their talent. Advocate Swatanter Dev Kotwal conducted the proceedings of the programme.
Later, the chief guest distributed certificates and prizes among the participants.
Among other present were MD Bhartiya College of Education, Ashok Kumar; Principal Bhaskar Degree College, S.K Magotra; Principal Paramedical College, P.L Suri; Principal Bhartiya College, Anita Bali; besides staff members and students.
