DIPR organises Poster making competition on INDIA @ 75 at GDC Hiranagar
Kathua: District Information Centre of Department of Information & Public Relations, today organised a Slogan Writing competition on the theme of ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ here at Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College, Hiranagar.
The Slogan Writing competition was held on the theme of ‘INDIA @ 75’ under the overall supervision of NSS Programme Officer Prof. Rakesh Sharma at the common hall area of the college, where 25 students of different classes participated.
The competition was adjudged by a jury of judges on the basis of originality, creativity, aesthetic presentation and relevance to the theme.
The duo of Poonam Mehra & Sapna Sharma bagged first position, Manjeet Kumar-Priya Sharma bagged second position, whereas Sakshi Raina was adjudged third best by the jury of judges.
NSS Programme Officer Prof. Rakesh Sharma and Ajay Kumar of Culture Unit of DIPR Kathua gave away Certificates to the winners.
Pertinently, the Kathua unit of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) is in process of organising special event series to mark week long campaign on ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ in border tehsil Hiranagar.
