DIPR Rajouri spreads awareness on CAB through announcements in rural areas
RAJOURI : With the objective to generate awareness among the common masses about the COVID19 appropriate behavior, the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Rajouri Centre on the directions of the District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal has launched a massive awareness programme through announcements from a mobile van.
The awareness campaign is being organized as a part of IEC activities for generating public awareness on Covid Appropriate Behaviour amid the impending threat of third wave.
The People are being educated about the significance of strict adherence to CAB and implications in case of its violation through announcements in busy markets and rural areas. They are also being told about COVID-19 Do’s & Don’ts like wearing face masks, washing hands with soap frequently, avoiding crowded places, handshaking and maintaining social distance.
The Department is also motivating the children between the 15-18 age group to take the Covid vaccine as vaccination is the ultimate solution to stay safe from the infection.
Pertinently, the awareness van today has covered Doongi, Manjakote, Panjgrain, Kallar while it has already covered several areas of the district including Thanamandi, Darhal, Rajouri town, Palma and some parts of Kotranka and efforts are being made to touch the villages also.
