Director Agriculture Kashmir administers integrity pledge to officers/ officials

SRINAGAR : On the eve of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’, the Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department (AP&FWD) Kashmir today observed an integrity pledge taking ceremony at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi, here.

On the occasion, the Director Agriculture Kashmir, Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal initiated the event and administered an integrity pledge to all the officers of the Department.

Speaking at the event, the Director said that the Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed by the Department from 26th of October to 1st of November 2021. He reiterated the importance of greater awareness on complaints, public interest disclosure, transparency and accountability, and clearing all outstanding vigilance matters.

He said to observe the vigilance awareness week; different programs have been scheduled in all the districts of Kashmir valley which amongst other things includes taking an integrity pledge, sensitizing employees about corruption and allied issues through awareness programs and interactive sessions etc.

Joint Director Agriculture Inputs Farooq Ahmad Shah, Joint Director Agriculture Extension Sheikh Shahid Iqbal, Joint Director Agriculture Farms Dr. Syed Waseem Ahmad Shah and other senior officers of the Department were present on the occasion.
