Director AH Kashmir conducts detailed review of Animal Husbandry Department, Kashmir
SRINAGAR: The Director Animal Husbandry (AH) Kashmir, Purnima Mittal today held a detailed review meeting of the Animal Husbandry Department Kashmir, here.
At the outset, the Director appreciated the efforts of all the officers for implementation of various Departmental Schemes at grass roots level for the benefit of livestock farmers.
Purnima directed all the field functionaries to ensure 100 percent KCC coverage under Kisan Bhagidiri Prathmikta Humari campaign, to all eligible farmers.
During the meeting it was impressed upon all the officers to extend Marketing support to all dairy farmers for sale of Milk and Milk by-products.
Furthermore, Purnima directed all district level officers to launch the prestigious Brucella Control programme Vaccinations in all districts for the very benefit of livestock farmers.
In the end, she directed all the officers to work with full dedication so as to achieve self-sufficiency in Milk production and poultry thereby reversing the trend from import to export of livestock products.
The meeting was attended by all Deputy Directors, Chief Animal husbandry Officers and other officers of the Department.
