Director AH reviews performance of department in Samba, Kathua districts

Jammu: Director, Animal Husbandry Jammu, Vivek Sharma conducted an extensive tour of District Samba and Kathua and took stock of the progress achieved in implementation of various government schemes and stressed u .

She was accompanied by Chief Animal Husbandry officers’ of respective districts and other senior officers of the department. She upon pon the officers’ and other field functionaries to popularizethese schemes among farming community to boost their income.The Director inspected Veterinary Hospital building at Mansar and the landproposed for construction of Veterinary hospital at Nud in Samba district.

Later in Kathua, the Director took a detailed meeting with the field staff of Kathua district and reviewed the block wise progress achieved in the National Animal Disease Control Program (NADCP).

The Director took serious note of the slow pace of vaccination and uploading of data on INAPH portal and issued on spot instructions for expediting the activity for achieving the targets within the timeline. She warned of strict action against the nonperforming officers/ officials if they fail to meet the targets within the timeline fixed by the Government of India.
