Director FCS&CA Jammu inspects Food stores, availability of food grains in Doda district

Doda: Director, Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Jammu, Dr. Naseem Javaid Chowdhary today toured Doda district and inspected the stock of food grains in and inspected the stores. He visited food stores at Khellani, Ghat and Doda.

While inspecting the stocks, the Director laid emphasis on proper maintenance of records, early lifting and distribution of food grains to the beneficiaries.

He also issued on spot directions for submission of detailed project report for repair and renovation of food stores along with their geo-tagged pictures.

Later, the Director chaired a review meeting with the officials of the department in the Conference Hall of District Administrative Complex Doda.

During the review meeting, instructions were issued to all officials of FCS&CA Doda pertaining to verification of Data rectification/re-verification of ration cards for inclusion/exclusion of beneficiaries in NFSA.

He asked to give top priority to Aadhar seeding with ration cards at beneficiary level and set June 15 as deadline for 100% Aadhar seeding under NFSA.
