Director HP&M inspects upcoming Mandies in Chenab region; interacts with local growers

DODA :  Director Horticulture Planning and Marketing, Vishesh Paul Mahajan today conducted an extensive tour of Chenab Valley.

He was accompanied by Deputy Director Horticulture Planning and Marketing Jammu, Naheed Mir; Area Marketing officer Doda Sunil Singh; AMO Ramban Batote Sunil Bakhshi and Executive Engineer, Engineering Wing HP &M,

On the way, he inspected the site for proposed Farmers’ Market at Kandari Nala and interacted with the stakeholders and vegetable growers of the area. He assured them that the construction work would be undertaken at an earliest.

The Director also visited Satellite Fruit and vegetables Mandi Paryoute and held a detailed meeting with the stakeholders and growers of District Doda. He advised them to start the trade from the site of the Mandi itself on a trial basis till the completion of work and its commissioning.
