Director SHD chairs introductory meeting

Jammu: Pankaj Magotra, assumes the charge of Director Sheep Husbandry Department, Jammu today.

Soon after assuming office, he chaired an introductory meeting with the officers and staff. He stressed on working with full dedication, discipline and professionalism for welfare of Sheep rearing community.

The Director Sheep Husbandry Department asked the officers to extend quality services to the nomads who are keepers of the unique legacy of sheep farming. The meeting was informed that the department has deployed special Veterinary teams along all migratory routes to administer dosing and vaccination to the livestock of nomads.
