Director SWD reviews implementation of welfare schemes in Udhampur

Udhampur: Director General Social Welfare Jammu, Smita Sethi today conducted an extensive tour of District Udhampur and inspected Social Welfare Office, Child Care Homes (Bal Ashram) and Nari Niketan.

Director interacted with inmates of CCHs and took feedback about the facilities and other requirements. Sethi advised the inmates to work hard to achieve their aim in life. She also took the review of ongoing work of Bal Ashram and asked the R&B department to expedite the pace and maintain quality of work.

Later, Sethi inspected the Jagriti Oldage home run by a NGO and Asha School run by Army at Udhampur. The Director also reviewed the implementation of welfare schemes on the ground.

Among others, Deputy Director Administrative, Afshan Masood, AD, Kailash Kumari and District Social Welfare Udhampur Er Sajad Bashir Somberia were accompanying the director during the tour.
