Dist Adm. Ganderbal holds Mega sensitization camp on (LRIS) ‘Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani’
GANDERBAL : In order to give wide publicity and to sensitize people about the newly launched land record information system, (LRIS) “Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani”, the district administration Ganderbal today organised a day long awareness programme for PRI members and people in Wakura block.
During this awareness programmes through live demonstration people were sensitized that how Public users can search and view copies of Scanned data online on CIS Portal-http://landrecords.jk.gov.in/ which includes Jamabandis, Girdawaris, Masavis, Mutations etc.
Speaking on the occasion, the AIG Registration, Sajad Ahmad, said that the initiative has put the revenue records in public domain and will facilitate easy online access to the Land Records and can register grievances if any. He asked the people to be well informed about their rights and the initiatives taken by the government so that the benefits of these initiatives are obtained.
He urged PRI members to propagate information of this portal among the people so they can access their Land Records.
The ACR Gandebral, Baseer Ahmad also added that District administration has established various facility centers/ Nodal point across the district to facilitate people to get their Land Records who personally are not able to access their records.
He thoroughly explained the initiatives taken by the govt under DILRMP such as digitisation of revenue records, scanning of all the available records and making those public through Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani and SVAMITVA under which the landholders would be provided a Unique Identification Number for their land parcels in abadi deh areas.
The demonstrations through videos and presentations were also given to the people present in the awareness program. People were made aware about the various benefits of having ownership card over their land in abadi deh areas.
People on the occasion interacted with the visiting officers and shared their suggestions, problems and doubts which were answered in detail by the ACR Ganderbal.
The awareness program remained lively and interactive and the BDC chairperson Wakura and other PRI representatives participated and appreciated the initiatives taken by the UT administration.
District administration Ganderbal has been organizing such awareness programs from last week. Such programs have been organized at tehsil headquarters of Gund Kangan Tulmula and Ganderbal.
