District admin Ramban rebuts news report on Village Sarbagni

Ramban: The district administration Ramban today rebutted a news report on the lack of amenities in Village Sarbagni of District Ramban.
Contesting the report, the District administration said that the village said the sub center which was functioning in village Sarbagni from 1995 stands upgraded to NTPHC during the year 2017. The said NTPHC is functioning in a double storied well furnished Government building with sanctioned staff of One each Medical Officer Pharmacist, FMPHW (Gen) and FMPHW (NHM). It stated that a Medical Officer Dr Adil Ahmed was posted in the said NTPHC Vide Government Order No: 49-HME of 2019 dated. 15.01.2019. But the MO did not join reportedly because he was pursuing a PG Course at the time of selection. Matter regarding filling up of the vacancy has been taken up with health authorities.
Regarding education Facility, the concerned said that there are two schools viz Upper Primary School Sarbagni and Girls Upper Primary School Sarbagni functioning in the village, with 148 and 120 enrollment respectively and availability of 5 teachers each against the sanctioned posts of 6.
It was informed that the UPS Sarbagni was established in the year 1976 as Primary School and upgraded to the level of UPS in 2009, UPS Girls Sarbagni was established as Primary School in the Year 1980 and upgraded to the level of UPS in 2009.
The nearest High School of the area is High School Ramsoo situated at a distance of 5 KMs. The UPS Sarbagni was proposed for upgradation to the level of High School under SAMAGRA Shikhsha in the current year plan. But the same was not approved due to the reason that the feeding Middle school of the said school is only one i.e UPS Girls Sarbagni which as per MHRD guidelines should be minimum five. However the UPS Sarbagni has also been proposed for up-gradation to the level of High School under State Plan as per the demand of local people raised during Back to Village-2 programme.
The feasibility report regarding the up-gradation of UPS Sarbagni to the level of High School stands submitted to Director School Education by Chief Education Officer Ramban Vide No.CEO/Plg/2019-20/5495-97 dated: 19.08.2020.
Regarding the surface connectivity, it was said that the detailed Project Report for construction of link road from Ramsoo to Sarbagni 06 KMs under NABARD stands submitted to the Government for its approval by Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Department. The Administrative approval of the road has been accorded Vide Govt Order No: 33E-PWD(R&B) of 2016 dated: 10.11.2016 to the tune of Rs 1527.95 Lacs. But the sanction of NABARD is still awaited. Besides there is a forest area coming under the alignment of the said road for which the formal indent was also placed by the PWD(R&B) Department before the Chief Conservator of Forests and joint inspection also stands completed. However no funds have been released by the Government for which the tendering process of the said road is held up. As soon as funds are released, the work for the said road will be taken up.
The Panchayat village Sarbagni has two Panachayt Sarbagni-A and Sarbagni-B. Panchayat Sarbagni-B is fully electrified and in Sarbagni-A out of 07 wards 05 are electrified and 02 number of wards are un-electrified having 187 households. For the electrification of the said two wards an amount of Rs 128.00 Lacs stands projected, As soon as the funds are received, the work for electrification of the said two wards will be taken up. However 02 street solar lights have been issued at village Sarbagni through JAKEDA in the meantime.
