District Admn Samba declares 3 hotspot/Containment zones

Samba: In wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, 04 new positive cases of Covid-19 were reported in the district Samba following which District Magistrate Samba, Rohit Khajuria has imposed complete clampdown in three areas of the district.
The District Magistrate informed that complete clampdown has been imposed in three villages of the district including Village Jerda, Ramgarh, Vilage Kotli Nandpur, Ramgarh and Ward No. 12 & 13 of Bari Brahmana where Covid-19 positive cease were reported. All the covid-19 positive cases have been referred to GMC Jammu besides their immediate contacts have also been securely placed at isolated places. He also informed that teams headed by a Nodal officer have also been stationed in these areas.
He further informed that team of medical staff, revenue staff, police personals, headed by a district officer has been stationed in each red zone areas besides door to door sampling/ testing shall be carried out regarding COVID-19. Complete villages shall be sanitized and essential items like food vegetable, fruits, gas cylinders etc shall also be made available at doorstep.
The Deputy Commissioner laid emphasis upon all the designated nodal officer deputed in the containment zone to ensure compliance of all the government guidelines issued from time to time in the red zones.
Senior superintendent of Police, Samba Shakti Pathak has also assured that proper security and assistance shall be rendered to the native of these villages till 100% sampling/testing is achieved.
