District COVID Cell Doda visits Medical Block Gandoh, Reviews pace of vaccination; Holds awareness session at GHSS Kilhotran

 

DODA: District COVID-19 Cell team from Doda visited Medical Block Gandoh to review the pace of ongoing COVID-19 vaccination drive and COVID management in the block.

During the visit, the team interacted with the staff of PHC Changa with regard to COVID Vaccination.

The team, after reviewing the block data, entrusted the staff to cover all the left out population of the target group and ensure 100% vaccination coverage. Stress was also laid on full vaccination by administering the second dose to the beneficiaries at the due time to achieve the set targets. The team further advised the concerned ZMOs to ensure timely uploading of the data related to COVID testing and Vaccination on the portals.

Moreover, the team advised the health staff to stay extra careful and motivate the people to strictly follow the COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB).

Meanwhile, the District COVID Cell team also attended a programme held at GHSS Kilhotran Bhalessa on the eve of Teachers’ Day where teachers and students of the area were present.

The team educated the teachers and students about the COVID-19 pandemic and necessary precautions to stay safe. Special focus was laid on the importance of COVID Vaccination. The COVID Cell appealed to the HOIs, Teachers and Students present there to get inoculated with anti COVID vaccine shots at an earliest.

Later, the school management thanked the District Administration and Health Department for conducting awareness session on COVID-19 Vaccination in their area.

The COVID Cell team consisted of District Epidemiologist Dr Umar Anayat Khan, BMEO NHM Mashhood Latif and District Media Coordinator Health Department, Faizan A Tramboo. Medical Officer Dr Feroz Ahmed, Dr Seema Sehar from PHC Changa were also present on the occasion.
