District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti Kishtwar Celebrates World Health Day

KISHTWAR : On the directions of District Social Welfare Officer, Zubair Ahmed, the District Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti Kishtwar observed World Health Day at the Health and Wellness Centre Poochal. The DHEW team informed participants that this day serves to increase awareness and emphasise the significance of global health issues.

The women were also made aware of the rising COVID cases and its prevention, as well as health card benefits and other women-centric schemes.

The programme was attended by the Sarpanch Poochal, staff of HWC Poochal, ASHA and Angandwadi workers besides the locals.
