District Red Cross Society organises Blood Donation camp at DH Kishtwar

Kishtwar: To mark the world Blood Donation Day, District Red Cross Society, in collaboration with the Health department today organised a blood donation camp at District Hospital Kishtwar.

Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Sharma inaugurated the camp.

As many as 22 volunteers attended the camp, out of which 13 donated blood, while 9 volunteers were reserved for emergency purpose.

While speaking on this occasion, Deputy Commissioner urged people to donate blood voluntarily as it is a great service to humanity and helps in saving the precious lives.

Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Sham Lal , Medical Superintendent District Hospital, Dr. Parvaiz Iqbal Wani, Secretary Red Cross, Asgar Sheikh, Doctors, volunteers from red cross and locals attended the camp.
