District Skill Committee meet held at Reasi; DC stresses on capacitating maximum number of youth

REASI  : A meeting of members of the District Skill Committee was today held here under the Chairperson of District Development Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal.

During the meeting, the District Skill Committee chalked out the modalities to ensure quality, consistency and convergence in the skill ecosystem of the district besides generating awareness of various initiatives launched by the Government.

The DC directed each department to start a youth aspiration survey using all available resources and seek suggestions from all Committee members for the formulation of a solid workable District Skill Plan within the shortest possible time.

Babila Rakwal emphasized on the need to capacitate maximum people with skill of varied trades and directed for giving wide publicity to the programme roping in industrialists, traders, manufacturers and other employment generating institutions for absorbing the local youth for skill development.

On this occasion, ADC Abdul Star, CAO besides other committee members were present.
