Distt Admin Srinagar holds Awareness Camps on (LRIS) “Aaapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani” at Tehsil, Nayabat Offices

 

SRINAGAR :- In order to sensitize the people about the recently launched Land Record Information System (LRIS), “AAPKI ZAMEEN AAPKI NIGRANI”, the District Administration Srinagar today organised a series of Sensitization cum Awareness camps at different locations in the District here for the mass awareness of the people.

The Sensitization cum Awareness camps were organized at Tehsil Office Shalteng, Tehsil Office North and Nayabat on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad.

During the Camps, a large number of the people of North, Shalteng and Khonmoh areas were sensitized about the benefits and use of Land Records Information System (LRIS), “AAPKI ZAMEEN AAPKI NIGRANI”, through live demonstrations.

The experts also demonstrated how Public users can search and view copies of Scanned data online on CIS Portal-http://landrecords.jk.gov.in/ which includes Jamabandis, Girdawaris, Masavis, Mutations etc.

Speaking with regard to organizing such Sensitization cum Awareness camps, the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar said that the initiative has put the Revenue Records in Public domain and will facilitate easy online access to the Land Records and can register grievances if any.

He asked the people to be well informed about their rights and the initiatives taken by the Government so that the benefits of these initiatives reaches at grass root level.
