DLSA conducts Medical Camp at District Jail Kupwara

KUPWARA : District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kupwara Conducted a Medical Camp at District Jail Kupwara in which all the Jail Inmates were provided specialized care inside the Jail Premises.

Earlier Secretary District Legal Services Authority Kupwara Muzamil Ahmad Wani on his Jail Visit on 30th of July 2021 had been intimated by the Jail Inmates that the Doctor on duty as been transferred.

Moreover, some jail inmates had request specialized dental and orthopedic consultation for which communication was made to the District Administration and consequently with the support of Chief Medical Officer Kupwara a team of specialized doctors visited District Jail along with Secretary District Legal Services Authority Kupwara under immediate supervision of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Kupwara and Pr. District & Sessions Judge, Tasleem Arief during which medical check up of Jail Inmates was conducted.

Meanwhile, officers of health department assured periodic roster of doctors for the district jail in future.
