DLSA hoslds sanitization, cleanliness drive at district court complex Udhampur

 

Udhampur: In view of Covid 19 Pandemic, District Legal Services Authority Udhampur launched a cleanliness drive at Court complex Udhampur on Friday.

Cleanliness drive was organized by Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, (Sub Judge) Rajni Sharma in association with Bar members and Udhampur Municipality, which was formally inaugurated by Principal District and Sessions Judge, Chairman DLSA Y.P Bourney.

During the campaign, entire court complex in which seven courts are housed was sanitized and for prevention of the outbreak of water and vector-borne diseases. The sanitization was done by Municipality Safai Karmcharis, Para Legal Volunteers and Bar members who also participated in Cleanliness drive .

Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary DLSA said that cleanliness drive was launched to keep court complex and its surroundings neat and clean amid the Corona pandemic. She underlined the need to give cleanliness first priority and consider it the responsibility of every inidividual. “We should ensure to maintain cleanliness not only in our houses but also in areas around us” she urged. She added that cleanliness helps us in fighting several diseases as well. She also highlighted the safeguards and preventive measures against Covid -19 pandemic.

Food packets were also distributed among Safai karamcharis who participated in cleanliness drive

Bar President J .D Slathia , Advocate Rajesh Rigra Surinder Khajuria , Dinkar Gupta also participated in the drive and appreciated the move of DLSA and assured full support in such campaigns as and when launched.
