DLSA Kupwara felicitates participants of Essay competition

KUPWARA : The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kupwara Tuesday organized a felicitation ceremony here at Town Hall, to honor the participants with certificates and top three positions in high and higher secondary level who took part in an Essay competition.

Earlier, DLSA Kupwara under the aegis of NALSA and in pursuance of a pan India awareness and outreach programme, conducted an essay competition on topics of freedom movement in all high and higher secondaries of District Kupwara. The competition was held on October 4, 2021 in which around 200 students took part.

On the occasion, the participants and toppers in the competition were rewarded with prizes in the felicitation ceremony by Chairman DLSA, Tasleem Arief, Secretary DLSA, Muzamil Wani and Chief Education Officer, Abdul Hameed Fani. About 200 students and guests participated in the felicitation ceremony.

Tehsil Legal Services Committee Handwara today conducted an awareness camp about the rights of transgenders in which lawyers and people participated.
