DLSA organises awareness programme on governmental schemes at Shopian

 

SHOPIAN: In connection with Pan-India Awareness and Outreach Campaign as a part of ‘Azad Ka Amrut Mahotsav’, the District legal Services Authorities (DLSA), Shopian, today organised awareness programme under the overall chairmanship of Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, (DLSA) Shopian, Fairooz Ahmed Khan in collaboration with the District Administration Shopian, at Mini Secretariat Arhama, here.

The aim of the programme was to raise awareness among the masses so that they can avail the benefits of the schemes launched by the centre and state Government to uplift them, especially those living in remote and far-flung areas.

The Secretary, DLSA, while speaking on the occasion, said that the people should come forward and avail the benefits of the schemes launched by the Government in this section so that they can be able to earn their livelihood nicely.

The Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya and Secretary (DLSA) accompanied by ADDC, ACR and other district officers inspected the Stalls installed by various line departments like , Fisheries, Horticulture, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, District Industries Centre, Health Department and others.

Meanwhile, the DLSA has so far launched various programmes, including legal awareness camps and talk shows on the activities of the legal services and availability of legal aid as part of the campaign.
