DLSA Pulwama observes International Women’s day

Pulwama : District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Pulwama today organized a function to observe International Women’s Day here at District Court Complex.
The function was presided over by the Chairman DLSA, Principal and Session Judge, Pulwama, Mohammad Ibraheim Wani .
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman DLSA highlighted the role and contribution of women in various fields of life. He said that women have attained immense success in various fields particularly sports, politics and academics.
In today’s world, the role of women has changed significantly as they are now self-sufficient, well aware and financially independent, he added.
Secretary, DLSA, Khurshid ul islam highlighted the rights of women.
Judicial Officers, Advocates, Asha Workers and Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) were present on the occasion.
