DLSA Udhampur hosts series of awareness events at Gram Panchayat Level

UDHAMPUR : District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur under the guidance of its Chairman and overall supervision of Secretary Rajni Sharma (Sub-Judge) organised a series of Awareness Programmes about Alternate Dispute Resolution Mechanism here at the Gram Panchayat Levels.

The events were held in connection with the Pan India Awareness and Outreach Campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Four Blocks of Ramnagar, Chennai, Majalta and Udhampur.

The Aim of the Programmes was to identify Legal Aid Beneficiary and provide Legal Aid to the Beneficiaries at grassroots level.

The Resource Person of the Programmes was Panel Lawyer Advocate Sanjeet Kumar. He enlightened the participants about various Alternate Dispute Resolution Mechanisms undertaken by the Legal Services Institutions to provide Legal Services to the masses particularly at Panchayat levels.

The Resource Person encouraged the Participants to resolve their disputes through ADR Mechanisms like mediation, conciliation etc. The Programme was also attended by Block Development Officers Ramnagar, Chenani, Majalta and Udhampur. Later, Panel Lawyer Advocate Sanjeet Kumar thanked all the participants for Participating in the programme.
