DLSA Udhampur hosts training program for PLVs

 

UDHAMPUR : District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Udhampur under the guidance of its Chairman and overall supervision of Secretary Rajni Sharma (Sub-Judge) today organized a Training Programme for Para Legal Volunteers on the implementation of Various Social Welfare Schemes.

The training was held as part of the Pan India Awareness and Outreach Campaign being conducted under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

Resource persons Advocate Akhil Dubey, Advocate Sanjeet Kumar and Advocate Mallikarjun Singh Slathia, Panel Lawyers of District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur imparted training to all the PLVs present in the Programme on active implementation of various Welfare Schemes.

The PLVs were also provided training in filing of application forms provided in the post offices in their respective areas for Legal Aid.

Concluding the Programme, the Secretary thanked the participants and impressed upon the PLVs to make concrete effort to implement various Welfare Schemes of Government of India at their respective areas. The Programme was also attended by Some Ex-servicemen including President of Ex-servicemen League District Udhampur Dalbir Singh and Staff from Post Office Circle Udhampur.

All the PLVs of District Udhampur attended the training Programme including PLVs of TLSCs Chenani, Majalta and Ramnagar.
