DLTFC Kishtwar clears 20 loan cases

Kishtwar : District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) Kishtwar today approved 20 local cases under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and JK-Rural Employment Generation Programme, here at its meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar.
The meeting was attended by LDM Naseer Ahmad, Cluster Head JK Bank, Director SBI RSETI, Sanjeev Gupta, District Officer KVIB Nazir Ahmed, besides representatives of ITI, Grameen Bank, Polytechnic college among others.
District Officer , KVIB submitted 28 loan proposals which included Kiryana and grocery stores, transport, cosmetics, steel fabrication, furniture, Readymade garments manufacturing, welding, carpentry, electronics & repair, Laboratory, cutting and tailoring, printing press, automobiles, readymade and stationary, etc.
The committee after scrutiny and analysis of viability of proposed projects approved 20 cases for credit linkage through financial institutions. . The rest of the 8 applicants were absent at the time of screening.
The Committee sanctioned a total Rs 1.45 crore loan to these 20 units. The units are expected to generate employment opportunities for over 40 souls in the district.
