DM Poonch notifies micro-containment zones
Poonch: District Magistrate, Poonch in exercise of powers vested under section 144 CrPC, section 34 of the Disaster Management Act 2005 and section 3 of Epidemics Diseases Act, 1897 has declared Ward No. 11 of Panchayat Bhainchh of Village Bhainchh of Tehsil Haveli; Ward No. 4 of Gunthal Lower in Village Gunthal of Tehsil Surankote and Ward No. 2 of Panchayat Sanai Middle of Tehsil Surankote as micro-containment zones.
The order further reads that these areas shall be under strict lockdown except for essential needs. There shall be no inward/outward movement of any person from these areas except in case of Medical emergencies and essential needs.
It shall be mandatory for the persons residing in these areas to get themselves tested and any refusal in this regard shall invite action including filling of FIR under Disaster Management Act 2005 and Epidemics Diseases Act; 1897.
It is further ordered that Tehsildar Haveli/Surankote shall be the overall incharge of these containment zones within their respective jurisdiction for enforcement of SOPS.
Abdul Qayoom, Lecturer English, DIET Poonch (9622058259) shall be the Administrator for containment Zone, W.No 11 of Panchayat, Bhainchh.
Mohd Amin, Lecturer (7006890533) shall be the Administrator for containment zone W. No 02 of Panchayat Sanai Middle while Shafiq Ahmed Malik, Lecturer Physics HSS Chandimarh ( 7006324775) shall be the Administrator for containment Zone W. No. 4 Gunthal Lower.
BDOs concerned shall ensure sufficient fumigation/Sanitization of these areas.
Tehsildar Haveli/BMO Mandi/Surankote along with SHO concerned and Administrators concerned shall ensure 100% screening/Testing and vaccination of all eligible residents of these areas.
The District Control Room shall monitor implementation of these instructions and shall submit the information to the undersigned on daily basis at 4:00 PM.
The Administrators shall ensure the availability of basic facilities including food grains, LPG, medicines in Containment Zones through concerning departments.
The contact number of COVID-19 Control No. 01965-222012, 01965-222079 (Medical Emergency) shall be widely circulated among the population so that the information with regard to any suspect shall be shared by locals with the authorities. The inhabitants can also call on aforesaid contact numbers in case of any medical emergency.
In view of the emergent nature of the order, it is being passed ex-parte and addressed to the public at large.
Any violation of the order shall invite action as per the provisions of section 188 of the IPC and other legal provisions as applicable.
