Doda admin braces up for providing online services
Doda: District Administration Doda is bracing up for providing online access to varied services.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of Officers, officials of National Informatics Centre to review the preparations/progress of the designing of web portal and mobile App (Zimedari initiative). The twin platforms would offer varied services including Building Construction permissions by Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA).
The services are being provided on the directions of Lieutenant Governor UT of J&K to all districts to provide two digitized services to the public online and will be monitored by the LG office.
The DC was informed by the District Informatics Officer, NIC that the designing up to primary user level for Zimedari initiative has been completed and zonal and district level user designing is in progress.
The DC directed the DIO NIC to complete designing of portal including the necessary features so that it shall be officially launched within the timeline for further operation.
While reviewing the online services of building permission by BDA, the CEO informed that designing of the portal has been completed up to approval level and IDs have already been given to the concerned authorities for issuance of online NOCs.
The DC suggested some minor changes in the design of the portal, besides asked the concerned to add the feature of Geo tagging at the initial level so that the revenue authorities shall also verify the same to avoid the duplicity.
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, CEO BDA, DEPO Doda, DIO NIC, ADIO NIC besides other officials of NIC and school Education Department.
