Doda Police organise awareness lecture in Paramount Higher Secondary School Bagla

DODA: To educate and refrain the youth from the use of narcotic substances, Doda Police today organized a lecture under the banner of “NASHA MUKT ABHIYAAN.

The program was organized under the guidance of SSP, Abdul Qayoom, while SP Operations, Raj Kumar delivered the lecture on the drug menace and its ill effects.

The main objective of the program was to educate the students and spread awareness about the impact of drug abuse not only on individuals but on society.

Staff of the appreciated the steps of Doda Police towards eradication of the menace of drug abuse from the society.

The SP ops stressed upon the students to provide the information of drug users and suppliers to Police for taking immediate action under law. He stressed on identification of the drug users so that they can be sent to de-addiction centers for counseling and their rehabilitation. The students were requested to destroy wild cannabis in their area.
