DPE&S organises Annual Cross-Country Road Race at Anantnag

ANANTNAG : The Department of Physical Education and Sports today organized an Annual Cross-Country Road Race from College main gate to Bumzoo Crossing early morning at 6:30 am.

The race was flagged off by Principal of the college Dr. Irfan Ul Majid and a large number of students took part in the event and the race culminated successfully.

The first three positions were bagged by Khushboo Bashir of 2nd Semester (1st position), Uzma Hamid of 6th Semester (2nd Position) and Khan Rafia of 4th Semester (3rd Position) respectively. Besides, seven medals were also distributed upto the 10th position holder.

The college extends its gratitude to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anantnag and the concerned Station House Officer (SHO) Sadar Thana Anantnag, who deputed their contingents to escort the Student athletes.
