DPS Indirapuram Junior School’s Annual Days Illuminates Creativity and Environmental Stewardship

DELHI- NCR: DPS Indirapuram concluded its Junior School Annual Days, a four-day spectacle that not only showcased the incredible talents of young students but also emphasized the crucial need for environmental preservation. The event witnessed massive participation of students from the junior wing in the celebration, showcasing their talent and raising the benchmark of growth in the school.

The inaugural day featured the enthralling performance, ‘Pravaah’, symbolizing the journey of the sacred River Ganga, by the students of class IV. 473 students took part in putting up this great show. It served as a captivating reminder of the river Ganga’s multifaceted significance, weaving together spirituality, culture, and ecology. The students brilliantly brought this narrative to life, showcasing their artistic prowess. On the other hand, the second day unfolded with ‘Pukaar’, focusing on the preservation and restoration of Mother Earth, by students of class V. The aim of the show was to inspire and encourage our audience to contribute actively towards the preservation and restoration of our precious planet. Students conveyed the message quite well through choir music, dance, acts and more. Approximately 445 students participated in the show.

Day 3 and 4 centred around the theme ‘Symphony; Celebrating Hues of Life’, exploring the interconnectedness of the five elements of nature and their role in forming different seasons by students of class II. The students beautifully portrayed the significance of every season, reminding everyone to cherish the gifts of nature. The same was followed by a brilliant showcase by students of class I, who portrayed the infinite potential of the elements, causing the seasons to change seamlessly. It symbolised different emotions of life, spreading messages of happiness, love, calmness, and peace. The children conveyed a powerful message – to adorn life and make it more beautiful with vibrant hues.

Ms. Priya John, Principal, DPS Indirapuram, stated, “It was heartening to witness the passion and dedication of students in conveying various important messages about the environment, its origin and conservation. The success of the function is the result of teachers’ and students’ tireless efforts and practice and innovative ideas to generate awareness on sensitive issues. We are proud of our children and are hopeful that they’ll grow up to become responsible citizens of the country”.
