DPS R.N. Extension Shines in Music, Athletics, Taekwondo and Badminton Tournaments

Students of DPS R.N. Extension came out with flying colours in various competitions ranging from the field of sports to the musical stage. The budding athletes demonstrated their exceptional skills at the KIDS ATHLETICS 2023 and brought laurels to the school.

Pakhi Tiwari bagged a gold medal in the 50m hurdle race and a silver medal in the two-step bound and jump in the Under-12 category. Krisha Gupta won the bronze medal, Adhyaan Kaushik secured the 4th position, followed by Somyajeet Singh in the fifth position in the 50m hurdle race in the U-12 category. Kavish Kaushik achieved 5th position in two-step bound and jump in the same category.

Akaishaa showcased her prowess at the district-level TAEKWONDO tournament securing a gold medal in the junior lightweight category and qualifying for the state-level tournament.

In the INTER-SCHOOL BAND COMPETITION- ENCORE, the school band ‘BEATROOTS’, under the guidance of their mentor Mr. Siddharth Srinivasan, clinched the second position establishing DPS R.N. Extension as a prominent name in the musical community of Delhi/NCR.

Samarth and Hemanga Tonk represented DPS R.N. Extension in the State level INTER-SCHOOL BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP 2023, where Samarth emerged victorious in the singles U-17 category, securing a spot in the U-17 National Championship. Both Samarth and Hemanga qualified for the U-17 Doubles Championship.
