DPS Raj Nagar Extension showcased a wonderful participation in the ‘Hindi Workshop’  organised by the DPS Society at Greater Noida. The four-day event commemorated the vitality of the Hindi language as our mother tongue. Ms. Deepika Mehra represented DPS RNE at the workshop conducted by the Human Resource Development Center of the Delhi Public School Society. The event was held in different sessions under the mentorship of experts from Jawaharlal Nehru University and Delhi University, who shared their journey and efforts for glorifying our mother language over the years.

The workshop highlighted various aspects of the Hindi language, including making its learning interesting, effective and knowledgeable for everyone and promising it to be useful for the students in the long run. The pedagogical of aspects of Hindi were also discussed to analyse how teachers can play a role in building a strong bond between the students and their mother tongue in a country where most institutions are keen on relying upon a foreign language. The show reached towards its culmination with the distribution of certificates by Mr. B.K. Chaturvedi, the Chief Guest of the event

“We have always taught our students to respect and value the Hindi language as it is not only our mother tongue but the creator of various global languages as well. Being a part of this event was indeed a matter of pride for us, and our representative, Ms. Deepika Mehra, performed really well and left no stone unturned to exhibit her expertise and strong command over the language. This initiative by the DPS Society was a much-appreciated measure to unveil new aspects to make teaching and learning of the subject easier, entertaining and worthy for the students,” quoted Ms. Pallavi Upadhayay, Principal, DPS Raj Nagar Extension.
