Dr Inamuddin to receive ‘AMU Young Researcher Award’

Aligarh: Dr Inamuddin, Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Chemistry, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) will be conferred with the ‘AMU Young Researcher of the Year Award’ in the Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, Medicine and Unani Medicine category in the online Sir Syed Day commemorative function on October 17.

He will receive the award with a cash prize of Rs 50, 000. The award is decided by a jury headed by the eminent scientist, Dr Niranjan Chakraborty (Professor of eminence at the National Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi).

Prof Mohammad Sajjad Athar (Coordinator, Innovation Council and University Incubation Centre-ICUIC) and Prof S Imtiaz Hasnain (Chairman, ICUIC) added: “Dr Inamuddin has published 175 research papers in journals of international and national repute and he is on the editorial boards of several well-known journals.”
