Dr. Mohammed Reyazuddin Appointed Chairman of Department of Psychiatry

Aligarh : Dr. Mohammed Reyazuddin, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, J.N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, has been appointed as the Chairman of the department for a three-year term.

With over 12 years of experience in research, teaching, and patient care, Dr. Reyazuddin has specialized in areas such as research methodology, movement disorders, and child and adolescent psychiatry. He is actively involved in multiple multicentric research projects and serves as the nodal officer for the Addiction Treatment Facility at the university.

Dr. Reyazuddin has published 26 papers in national and international journals and holds lifetime fellowship with the Indian Psychiatric Society. He is also a member of the American Psychological Association and the World Psychiatric Association.

This appointment highlights his contributions to psychiatry and ongoing commitment to the field.
