Dr Ramineni Foundation to conduct Mega Award Function “Puraskaarams 2020 & 2021” in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: This year on 23rd December (Thursday), in Hyderabad at Anvaya Conventions, Financial District, Gachibowli Dr. Ramineni Foundation u.s.a is conducting “Puraskaarams 2020 & 2021”, a Mega Awards Function at 6.00 pm.

This year crossing the State boundaries, Dr. Ramineni Foundation u.s.a. has decided to award personalities Pan India, recognising their exemplary contribution towards the society.

Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Sri Justice N V Ramana will grace “Puraskaarams 2020 & 2021” as the Chief Guest and present the awards as well as address the gathering.

Foundation Chairman, Sri Dharmapracharak Ramineni shared that every year awards are conferred on October 12 to mark the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Ramineni Ayyanna Chowdary on whose 70th birthday the Foundation was established in Cincinnati, U.S.A. Due to pandemic, this year’s as well as last year’s awards function is being held on 23rd December in a big way crossing the regional boundaries and felicitating the awardees from Pan India for their exemplary contribution towards the humanity.

“Dr. Ramineni Foundation U.S.A. awards function is not just merely a celebration but a medium to ignite responsibility of standing up for humanity among the people around the world.” Mr. Ramineni added.

2020 awardees list include NABARD Chairman Sri. G.R. Chintala, Popular Actor, Producer, and Social Worker Sri. Sonu Sood, TV Anchor, Host, Actress and Producer Smt. Suma Kanakala, Healing Hastha Herbals Pvt. Ltd Managing Director Dr. B. Masthan Yadav, Dwarakamai Seva Trust Managing Trustee Sri Bandlamudi Srinivas.

Further 2021 awardees list includes Bharath Biotech – Founder Chairman & MD Dr. Krishna M. Ella and Joint MD Smt. Suchitra M. Ella, Padma Shri K. Brahmanandam, Professor & Head of Anaesthesiology – NIMS Dr. Durga Padmaja, Telugu Film Journalist Sri S.V Rama Rao.

Dr. Ramineni Foundation was founded in 1995 by the Late Dr. Ramineni Ayyanna Chowdary in Cincinnati of Ohio State, USA with a vision that embodies the onus of protecting and promoting the monumental heritage of Indian Culture and ideals of Hinduism. Further, the primary mission of the foundation is to felicitate the valiant, relentless and altruistic efforts of all those high priests drawn from a cross spectrum of fields in arts, science and humanities.

After the successful implementation of its activities in US and being in the forefront of promoting Indian culture in US, the children of Dr. Ramineni thought it fit to launch Dr. Ramineni Foundation in India on the 12th October, 1999, to intensify their social and cultural activities in their Motherland. This epochal endeavour intended to carry forward Dr. Ramineni’s noble mission of illustrious patronage of Indian culture. The Foundation was launched with a felicitation function organized to honour eminent scholars, artists, litterateurs, thinkers and leaders of religious and educational thought.
