Dr ZA Dental College organized Meri Mati Mera Desh Campaign

 

Aligarh : In a display of unity and commitment to the country, Dr ZA Dental College of Aligarh Muslim University partnered with Heritage International School to organize a free dental screening and treatment camp under the Amrit Kalash Yatra as part of the “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign. This event, held in Aligarh, aimed to raise awareness about prevalent dental diseases within the community.

Principal ZADC Prof. R. K. Tiwari, inaugurated the event by pouring a handful of soil from Dental College. The Amrit Kalash Yatra then proceeded to Heritage International School, where the school principal, Mr. Shiv Kumar Gautam, along with teachers and students from diverse backgrounds, actively contributed to the Amrit Kalash, further underscoring the spirit of unity and dedication to the nation.

The proceedings were organized under the Chairman Prof. Vivek K Sharma and Prof. Neha Agrawal, Dr. Syed Amaan Ali, Dr. Shazia. Team of dedicated interns including Dr. Shoeb Hasmi, Dr. Fuzail, Dr. Humaira, Dr. Bhawna, and Dr. Sara, along with dental hygienists Zoya, Naba, and Hiba, facilitated the comprehensive screenings for dental diseases. 457 students from primary classes received personalized oral hygiene instructions.

The Amrit Kalash, symbolizing unity and dedication to the country, was ceremoniously sealed and is scheduled to be handed over to local authorities for further proceedings. This event not only underscores the significance of oral health but also showcases the power of collaboration in fostering a healthier and more united society.
