DSW, Aligarh Muslim University discusses students’ issues

Aligarh : The Dean, Students’ Welfare, Aligarh Muslim University Professor Mujahid Beg, meeting with the urged the residents of MM Hall to bring their grievances to the DSW and the hall administration and help them improve the residential facilities. He said the university administration was very serious about students’ grievances and all possible efforts will be made to mitigate them so that students could focus on their studies and achieve greater successes in life.

Prof Beg said that various facilities including those related to residential rooms, dining hall, sports, literary and cultural activities and health and hygiene were important and the administration will take a periodic assessment of their effectiveness. He urged the Provost of the hall, Dr Tufail Ahmad to focus on the general health and hygiene in the hall in view of the growing threat of Corona virus, and ensure the dining area is specially cleaned and fumigated periodically.

Prof Beg assured the hall administration of his full cooperation in bringing improvements in the residential life of students.

The wardens of the hall and post holders including Intekhabur Rahman (Senior Hall Monitor), Shadab Ali Khan, (Secretary, Games), Md Irfan Khan (Secretary, Common Room), Syed Mohd Farhan (Secretary, Reading Room), Junaid, (Senior Prayer Monitor Sunni), Mohd Jamal (Secretary, Literary Society), Mohammad Haider Raza (Secretary, Coaching and Guidance Cell), Abul Bashar (Editor, Hall Magazine), Mohd Aquif Ansari (Secretary, Health and Hygiene), Asad Iqbal (Captain, Cricket), Mohd Abid (Captain, Volleyball) and Anzal Ahmad (Captain, Basketball) were present during the meeting.
