E Summit 2022, the three day Entrepreneurial Conclave Begins at IIT Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: The eighth edition of the annual three-day Entrepreneurial Conclave of IIT Bhubaneswar, E- Summit’22 was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Sandip Ranjan Das, Board Director of Sterile Technologies and Greenlam Industries, Ex-CEO Jio via video conferencing. The event was presided over by Prof. R.V. Raja Kumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. R.V. Raja Kumar said that entrepreneurs make a country’s economy and drive the country forward in many ways. Talking on the theme, he expressed the need that students should be innovative and creative in today’s world. He said, “Today’s students as tomorrow’s leaders who are going to be the driving force in reshaping the future.” He congratulated all the students and expressed his happiness for their enthusiastic participation in almost all types of activities in a big way, post pandemic, after returning to the campus.
He further called upon the young minds of the country to utilize all the resources and initiatives provided by the institute and the government to the fullest and thereby realize the dreams being sphere-headed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat.’ He also expressed his happiness that the three-day long conclave comprising of various talks, panel discussions and events will bring out the best in students and help them pursue their ideas and goals.
The Chief Guest, Shri Sandip Ranjan Das, Board Director of Sterile Technologies and Greenlam Industries, in his inspiring talk motivated the students to never let go off their innovative spirit and continue to stay resilient and creative. Focusing on the key role of entrepreneurs in building a nation, he encouraged students to always pursue their ideas. He also made a special mention that E-Summit is a unique platform for academicians, new-age entrepreneurs, eminent business personalities, venture capitalists, and the students to gather at one place and share their entrepreneurial endeavours and experiences for taking it to the next level.
With eminent speakers such as Shri Sandip Ranjan Das (Board Director of Sterile Technologies and Greenlam Industries) and Shri T Muralidharan (Chairman FICCI, Telangana) and many other seasoned entrepreneurs and business leaders, all the three days are going to be very informative. The major highlights of the event are Crypto-currency conclave and intern-fair and a lot of new competitions. E Summit 2022 is a complete package of knowledge, inspiration, opportunities and fun for entrepreneurial enthusiasts. More than 2000+ participants from various colleges across India are participating in the conclave.
Also present at the event were Prof. P V Satyam, Dean, Student Affairs, Dr. Madhusmita Dash, Chairperson E-Summit; Dr. Rajakumar Guduru, Vice-Chairperson E-Summit; Dr. Gaurav Bartariya, PIC E-Cell; Shri Debaraj Rath, Registrar, IIT Bhubaneswar; and Dr. Srinivas Bhasker Karanki, President, Student Gymkhana. The inaugural ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by the Chief Coordinator, E-Summit, Mr. Sai Abinav.
