Earth Day at AMU

Aligarh : Faculty members and student volunteers called for environment protection and restoration of damaged ecosystems and a more sustainable life in the online ‘Earth Day’ observations of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on the theme, ‘Invest in our Planet’.

Dr Arshad Husain (NSS Programme Coordinator) urged students to raise awareness on the environmental impact of human activities.

He also encouraged the student participants to advocate for climate education and campaign for green power.

Dr Mohd Mujahid Ali Khan (Programme Officer) stressed the necessity to diversify the environmental movement across the Country.
