Eastman Premier League(EPL) sets a new benchmark in Employee Engagement for corporates

 

Gurugram: The Eastman Premier League, a customized 10 over a side cricket format conceptualizedand conducted by Eastman Auto and Power Ltd. (EAPL), concluded today at Sports Maidan sector 58, Gurugram. Grid Tie Solar Risers clinched the trophy defeating Raybar Riders by 5 wickets.

This season of EPL that kicked off on June 8th, was inaugurated by Shri Sandeep Khirwar, Commissioner of Police, Gurugram. The objective of this initiative was to boost team- building among employees and provide them a fun-filled experience beyond the work life.

Prashant Pillai, captain of the winning team, Grid Tie Solar Risers, said “It was a very striking match in which we performed our best and emerged as winners. I would like to thank my organization, Eastman Auto and Power Limited (EAPL) who conceptualized this novel concept. All of us thoroughly enjoyed this tournament and look forward to more such initiatives in future”

A total of 15 matches were played between eight teams, each having 13 members plus a team owner. These teams were divided into two groups, Group A and Group B each comprising four teams. Each team played three -10 over league matches and the final match was of 15 overs.

The title ‘Man of the Match’ was earned by Prashant Pillai, the captain of Grid Tie Solar Risers where from the same team Shakti achieved a ‘Purple Cap’ for taking most of the wickets. For acquiring maximum number of runs Jeetu from Raybar Riders won an ‘Orange Cap. Shakti from Grid Tie Solar Risers captured all the holding by receiving ‘Man of the Series’
