Ecole Intuit Lab invites applications for undergraduate and postgraduate design programs

Mumbai : École Intuit Lab, a globally acclaimed French institute of design, digital, and strategy creation in partnership with Techno India group has commenced its admission cycle for the year 2021 at the Mumbai Campus. It has five campuses across the world – Paris, Marseille, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Sao Paulo. The school invites applications to its Undergraduate Programmes in Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Digital Product Design, Game Art and Design, and PG in Advertising, Design, and Digital Communication programs.

Students who wish to apply will have to submit an online application form by making a payment of Rs.1000 for the desired course, followed by an online design entrance test. Selection of applicants is done considering test scores, followed by personal interviews and review of creative artwork.

The Undergraduate Programme in Design is a 4-year-long Programme with a focus on industry-academia collaboration and over 70+ visiting faculty members. From creative directors to studio heads, and copywriters, the graphic design teaching faculty is replete with industry experts who’re armed with decades of experience. And with two compulsory internships as part of the course, students are guaranteed maximum experiential education that can groom them for a successful career ahead.

Similarly, the Undergraduate program in Game Art and Design has collaborations with one of the leading game developing companies – UBISOFT. Students also have the option of completing their final year degree at Abertay University in Scotland. Over the four years, students are immersed in the various facets of game development; right from learning essential software techniques to getting an expert in art, the Undergraduate of Game Art and Design Programme aims to create industry-ready students with an acute sense of game design.

As for the Post Graduate Programs in Advertising, Design, and Digital Communication, it is a full-time 18 months program that is open to students from all disciplines. With a 2-week-long workshop abroad and a compulsory 3-month internship component, the program aims to open up international horizons for students. Right from branding, creative writing to website and app design the course covers a whole gamut of subjects so that students can develop a holistic sense of the vastly dynamic communications industry.

Speaking about the commencement of admissions, Mr. Yan Garin, the Country Head of École Intuit Lab, said, “Design is inherently part of French and Indian tradition. India has one of the richest histories when it comes to design and this is why we have not one but two campuses in the country. With these undergraduate and graduate programs, we want students from India to have a host of opportunities and explore the world through their passion for design. Students once again are facing uncertainty due to the pandemic and we want to ensure that the admission process is smooth.”

The campus is located in Prabhadevi, which is the heart of Mumbai, Maharashtra, and well connected to the city through public transport, making it easy for future students to settle down.
