EDII conducts Online Faculty Development Programme in Entrepreneurship under the aegis of AICTE
The five days online programme was attended by 101 selected Faculty members spread across 24 states
Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) has successfully conducted and completed five days of online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) in Entrepreneurship under the aegis of AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy. The objective of the programme was to train and equip the faculty members with requisite skills and competencies to conduct courses on entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship awareness camp and entrepreneurship development programme.
Around 101 faculty members from 24 states of the country took part in this specialised training programme. The selected faculties were from various disciplines such as engineering, management, commerce, humanities & social science, etc. The participants were trained in entrepreneurship development process, curriculum development for entrepreneurship courses, and selection tool for potential entrepreneurs, motivational training, and creativity and problem-solving.
To create a cadre of educators equipped to nurture future entrepreneurs, AICTE took the initiative to develop a FDP in entrepreneurship. EDII has been developing various training programmes to train faculty members with requisite skills and competencies to create awareness about entrepreneurship and develop a resources pool.
