EdTech Platform Offee raises Rs. 5.25 Crores from JITO, BIA, and Riidl; Aims to Revolutionize Digital Exams in India
Mumbai-based EdTech platform, Offee, known for enabling education institutes to conduct any exams digitally without internet and a computer laboratory infrastructure, today announced it has raised Rs. 5.25 crores in funding from JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation (JIIF) Investors, Bombay Industry Association (BIA) and Riidl. The funding will be used to boost Offee’s capabilities in enhancing product development, scaling operations, and expanding to newer markets.
In the wake of a digital shift in education, accelerated by the pandemic, Offee has launched a pioneering solution to leverage the untapped opportunity of digitizing over 100 crore+ paper-based college exams in India. Offee’s innovative Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution stands out for its ability to empower students to securely undertake digital exams on their own devices, specifically in airplane mode, within classrooms or local exam centers. This feature is crucial, especially in the more remote taluka/panchayat areas, effectively narrowing the educational divide.
Envisioning a transformative leap for educational institutes and government bodies, Offee’s platform facilitates the seamless conduct of large-scale examinations, promoting the idea that any place can be converted into an exam center, thus ensuring inclusivity and accessibility at every level of education.

Highlighting its unique offline mode, Offee ensures that examinations are conducted with integrity, as students’ devices are set to airplane mode, thereby enhancing security and scalability.
