EdTech startup byteXL inducts 4 experts from major companies in its senior leadership; aims for rapid growth; records 3X revenue growth

These strategic hires will play pivotal roles in driving the company’s growth, fostering innovation, and revolutionizing learning experiences for students across the 100+ institutes that byteXL works in 7 states in India.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Pravin Tatavarthi joins byteXL as Chief Mentor, bringing a wealth of experience in the technology industry with deep understanding of finance. He has an impressive background as the former CEO & MD at Allegis group, ex COO of Computer Associates, and Ex. Director in Finance of Oracle India for around 10 years. Pravin will be instrumental in contributing to byteXL’s vision and strategy. He will advise on pricing strategy and building culture and values.
Manish Kumar Sah assumes the role of Head of Learning Strategy at byteXL, leveraging his extensive expertise in curriculum design and pedagogical innovation. With a passion for creating engaging and impactful learning experiences, Manish Kumar will spearhead the development and implementation of effective learning strategies. This will ensure that byteXL remains at the forefront of engineering educational innovation. Alumni of IIT Bombay and Georgia Tech, Atlanta, prior to byteXL, Manish contributed immensely as the Learning Head at Vedantu, VP for Learning & Pedagogy at Toppr, apart from being the Co-founder of SEED Schools.
Karthik Divi, an accomplished technology leader, joins byteXL as the Head of Technology. With his deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies and their application in the higher education sector, Karthik will drive byteXL’s engineering team to build the in-house Tech and Analytics product. Over the past 15 years, he has led engineering teams at HackerRank, Reputation.com, JDA Software, and FourSoft in early-stage startups and large enterprise companies. An Engineering degree holder from JNTUH, he will oversee the development of state-of-the-art digital learning tools, ensuring seamless integration of innovative tools and technologies to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
Shankar Sivaramakrishnan, an expert in digital content creation and visual learning techniques, assumes the role of Head of Content Creation and Visual Learning Tech role at byteXL. Drawing on his rich experience in multimedia production and instructional design, Shankar will lead the creation of compelling and visually immersive learning content. His expertise will contribute to byteXL’s mission of delivering dynamic and interactive educational resources to students on the byteXL platform. Shankar is the Co-founder of BanyanBoard and holds 15 granted US patents. He has a Ph.D. and M.Sc. degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign along with a B. Tech from IIT Madras.
