EdTech Startup Tinker Coders raises undisclosed amount of funding from its parent company, STEMROBO Technologies

New Delhi: Tinker Coders, an online coding platform for K-12 students, has raised an undisclosed amount in the seed funding round from its parent company, STEMROBO Technologies, an EdTech company, providing one-stop learning solutions in STEM and Robotics to K-12 Students. The funding is led by Anurag Gupta and Rajeev Tiwari, Serial Entrepreneurs and Co-Founders, STEMROBO Technologies.

Tinker Coders plans to use the funds to expand its services in the Indian and International markets. The online coding company also looks forward to providing services to Indian rural areas by giving them access to smartphones or laptops. The company’s objective is to create awareness around ‘Learn through Coding,’ which helps students to elevate core skills like Logical thinking and creativity. Also, it gives them the motivation to solve real life-based problems.

 

Founded in March 2020 amidst pandemic, Tinker Coders provides 21st-century ideal education solutions to K-12 students and their parents. Till now, the company has crossed more than 250,000 subscribers and extended to more than 40+ countries, including The United States, United Kingdom, UAE, India, Australia, Singapore, Kenya, Ghana, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Bahrain, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mauritius and Japan. The company offers online coding programs centred around technologies like Artificial Intelligence & Python, Block-Based Coding, Mobile Application Development, 3D designing, Arduino Programming, Electronics & Robotics etc.

The company targets a revenue of USD 250 million in 5 years through aggressive market expansion across India. Recently, the company has also witnessed a 200% demand in AI, Python and Coding courses on their platform. The demand persists among the students of age groups between 6 to 18 years.
