Education in Ireland returns with its Education Roadshow, offering manifold opportunities for Indian Aspirants
Education in Ireland, the Irish government’s national brand promoting Irish Higher Education Institutions overseas, is all set for its flagship event in India, a 5-city Education Roadshow from 11 – 19 February. The Roadshow comes soon after the launch of the #VisaofOpportunities campaign by Education in Ireland, which highlights the educational and economic opportunities the nation offers to its international aspirants, emphasizing the ease of attaining study and work visas for Ireland.
Ireland’s ambassador to India, Mr. Brendan Ward said, “Not only is Ireland a leading study destination for international students, but it is also recognised globally as a technological and corporate hub owing to a number of factors, the presence of countless MNCs being one. We are proud of the measures we have in place that ensure students travel to and settle in Ireland with ease, such as our high visa clearance rate, and the one and two-year stay-back options which enable students to work after graduating. Last year, the number of students coming into Ireland was at its highest ever, and we expect the same enthusiasm from incoming students this year as well.”
Ireland’s reputation for academic excellence with affordable tuition has led the country to gain popularity as a sought-after study-abroad destination. But the plethora of opportunities does not end with degree programs – it leads to a wide array of employment and career advancement opportunities in sectors like IT, Business and Finance, Big Data, Medical Technology, Engineering, Digital Marketing, and so on.
Mr. Barry O’Driscoll, Regional Manager, India & South Asia for Education in Ireland said, “Irish higher education institutions are known to be amongst the top 5% in the world for educational excellence. International students can have a life-changing experience in Ireland since it is not only reputed for its quality of education but for having one of the highest rates of employability as well. Every year, over 40,000 high education students come here to pursue their studies, out of which more than 6000 are from India.”
The Education Roadshow will be held across five Indian cities, starting in Chennai on the 11th of February, followed by Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi on the 12th, 15th, 18th, and 19th of February respectively. Prospective students and their parents will be able to interact with admission and academic representatives from 17 Higher Educational Institutions of Ireland and discuss their academic and career prospects in detail. They will also benefit from the presence of Irish visa officials, and representatives from Gyandhan and University Living for any guidance on education loans and accommodation options in Ireland.
