Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Inaugurated Centre for Krishna Consciousness at 2nd Convocation Ceremony of Sanskriti University

New Delhi: Sanskriti University organized its 2nd Convocation today amidst the state of pandemic scenario across the globe. Dr. Ramesh Pokhariyal ‘Nishank’, Honourable Union Minister of Education, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India graced the occasion via video conferencing as Chief Guest and delivered the convocation address. Padam Bhushan Rajat Sharma Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of India TV as Guest. Sanskriti University presented degrees to the graduating students and charged them with the same. On this occasion, the Hon’ble Minister inaugurated Centre for Krishna Consciousness (CKC). The Gold, Silver and Bronze medals were awarded to the various top rankers of the respective Diploma, Undergraduate and Post Graduate Programmes offered by the university.

While addressing the students, Dr. Ramesh Pokhariyal ‘Nishank, Hon’ble Union Minister of Education congratulated all the graduating students of the University and their parents. He called upon the students to strive hard to cherish their dreams despite enormous challenges to be faced in the times to come. He also reminded them to remember the contribution of the alma mater i.e. Sanskriti University for its innovative teaching, learning and mentoring them to the path of success. He also expressed that the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) of Govt. of India will go a long way in brightening the future of the new students which will pave the way for holistic and multidisciplinary education.

NEP will help in creation of New India. NEP is National, International, Exclusive and Innovative which helps you in advance field of research. He expressed confidence that the students will contribute by their way of innovations and research in fulfilling the dream of our Hon’ble Prime Minister’s visionary program: “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan” by being self-reliant leading to creation of employment opportunities inside the nation. We are moving towards Digital India and virtual class is the game changer in the education system of young India. Lastly before concluding, he wished success to all the faculty members and students of the university in all their future endeavours.

Speaking on the occasion, Padam Shri Rajat Sharma Chairperson and Editor-in-Chief congratulated all the graduating students for their new ventures in life.

Sachin Gupta Chancellor of Sanskriti University expressed his satisfaction on the momentous occasion and congratulated all the meritorious students for their tremendous and meritorious achievement. He mentioned that life is full of challenges but every challenge comes as a turning point and opens new vistas of opportunity.He expressed confidence that the students of the University will be the torch bearers for nation building and paving the path for a modern and decisive India. He insisted that achievement and excellence should go hand in hand in integrity and discipline and our students will prove it right in the journey ahead. He also expressed his heartfelt thanks to Hon’ble Union Minister of Education and Hon’ble Minister of State for Education for their valuable time and presence and also to all the dignitaries present on the historic occasion.

The Convocation ended with a Vote of Thanks and National Anthem was sung by all the participants of the event.
